UPDATE: Fears linger as Laudium stabbing victim battles in hospital – Centurion Rekord

A month after two Laudium best friends were repeatedly stabbed, the youngest remains in hospital being fed through a pipe.

Anver Ismail (17) and Kyle Realto (15) were victims of an alleged unprovoked attack in Umber Street on the evening of 9 August.

The two had been with a group of friends at a nearby business when the attack happened.

While Anver has returned to school, Kyle has remained in Kalafong hospital unable to eat or drink.

“Kyle will not be released from hospital anytime soon,” said Anver’s mother, Shaida.

“He is still in a lot of pain and has undergone three operations.

“He cannot even brush his teeth and it has been a whole month since the attack.”

Shaida said Kyle’s family feared for his life.
